Observations

Thaddeus et al., 1984, ApJ, 283, L45
Observed SiCC lines from 93 to 170 GHz using NRAO 11m and Bell Laboratory 7m telescopes.
They found that the rotational constants determined from observations are different from that 
determined from laboratory measurements.
The found Trot=10K within Ka ladders, Tkin=140 K across Ka ladders
Assume a source size of 50" for SiCC, they derived column density N(SiCC) = 1.5 x 10^14 cm-2
